Monarch appeared in an ancient Egyptian like tomb that was buried deep underground. It held the tombs of traitors from this ancient pony society. Monarch approached one sarcophagus that had recently been dumped in the tomb. He opened it and inside was a stallion completely mummified and struggling for his life. Monarch removed most of the bandages, leaving only the bandages around his neck and body and some bandages around his hooves. The stallion took a deep breathe before speaking.

Stallion: Who or what are you?

Monarch: I am Monarch, the time king and you are Tarek the pretender, are you not?

Tarek: Hey! I'm no pretender. Those ponies lied to...

Monarch: Yes or no will do.

Tarek: Well... yes, but why have you freed me from my tomb?

Monarch: I'll cut to the chase. Your magic while powerful is not enough to stop the ponies in your time. You will never be a ruler ever again. However I can take you to another point in time. A time where the ponies are powerless against your magical might.

Tarek: Suppose you are telling the truth, what do you get out of this?

Monarch: I have made enemies with a small group of ponies that wish to see me destroyed, however with your horn block spell, they will become powerless and easy for you to destroy.

Tarek: Why would I want to risk my own neck against them? What if they stop me?

Monarch: They won't. Besides one of them is a pony you hate the most.

Tarek: Akila? It can't be. She is already dead and buried in this very tomb. I saw to that myself when I framed her and had the Pharaoh assassinated. The very day I seized power, until I was eventually found out to be behind that whole incident.

Monarch: Akila is not dead.

Monarch levitated Akila's tomb and tore it open revealing a mummy inside.

Tarek: See. That's her.

Monarch: So it would seem. However.

He unwrapped the bandages and revealed a skeleton that looked like the body had decayed for centuries.

Tarek: It's a fake!

Monarch: My enemies attempt to avoid changing the timeline.

Tarek: How do we lure them to us?

Monarch: It's simple. I'll take you to the time I'm offering to you for conquest and Akila and the rest of my enemies will come to you. Then you can use your undead army to soften them up before using your spell on their horns, taking away their powers and then you can easily finish them off in anyway as you please and then the world will be yours and my enemies destroyed. Do we have a deal?

Tarek: Deal.

Monarch opened a portal and he and Tarek walked though the portal and as Monarch walked though the portal he thought to himself. "After Tarek is done, Equestria will never have existed".
