Between 9:28am and 10:03am on Tuesday morning 11 September 2001 the first battle in Americas War on Terror was fought not by soldiers, sailors or marines but by "ordinary" citizens who chose to be extraordinary. 40 American citizens gave their lives that day so that others could live.Depicted is the proposed Flight 93 Memorial near Shanksville Pennsylvania.

KO. Blamito does not appear to have put tons of time into his piece, but I was proud to pull out a win anyway. I did toy around with the blowing leaves deal to add some motion, but could not pull it off without it just being a distraction from the somber mood I was trying to achieve. Thank you. Me either. Horrible. There is a great line at the beginning of the movie "Love Actually", narrated by Hugh Grant, where he says something like "... as far as I know, none of the calls on that day (9/11) were messages of hate or of revenge, but messages of love." Pretty interesting point.
