Watercolor of portion of C&O (Chesapeake and Ohio) Canal, Maryland on Arches CP paper 12"x16" 2005. Canal and towpath go from Georgetown Washington DC up to Harper's Ferry, about 60 miles and parallels the Potomac River.Related content

Waw, this is beautiful, I always love lakes with bridges since I saw Monet's painting of the Japanese Bridge.

I haven't seen this style fo painting in so long, it's really warm and beutiful. The earthy colours are also quite nostalgic, and I remember crossing an old wooden bridge just like that one in the lake district. Love it.
