Stamp request for She wanted a stamp saying "Mario is NOT a hero!"
Here are some of the reasons why Mario is not the hero that most fans think he is:
1. Mario was Donkey Kong's Master and tortured/humiliated him.
2. He kidnapped Donkey Kong's son and tried to harm the baby monkey when he tried to rescue his dad.
3. Ruining the innocent caterpillars' home (with daisies on top of their heads) not once but twice.
4. Mario punches Yoshi when riding them to extend their tongue.
5. Mistreating his brother, Luigi, who adores Mario.

And before you jump to any conclusions, I have to say this:
For the record I have NOT played any of the Super Mario games - apart from one game that I played on the Gameboy when I was 5 or 6. So I have very little knowledge of the Mario games.
Also, this is not my opinion of Mario. To be honest I don't personally label him as a hero or anti hero. I have no opinion of Mario, so I am in the middle as you say
If you like Mario, that's fine. If you don't like Mario, then that's fine too. I really don't mind.

I know those theories are really flawed. I once saw an artwork of Mario and Yoshi somewhere, which showed Mario actually points where Yoshi needs to extend his tongue to. Sadly, sprite limitations. ;w;
Those theories also don't mention Mario and Luigi have a sibling rivalry. X3
Hmm... I only know one Wiggler home Mario "ruined" and that was the one in Super Mario 64. It was the only way in, though. However, in the game's remake, Luigi, Wario and Yoshi can also be accused of this.
As for 1 and 2, that's just when you think about it too much. ^w^;

The problem is that, while Game Theory gets a lot of backlash for these bad theories, the people that DO believe it spread the nonsense as if it's a religion. And if I have to believe the internet, Game Theory doesn't even make up the theories themselves and really just take them from somewhere and take all the credit. :/
At least lots of people disagreed with the Mario is mental one. Heard it got a lot of people angry, especially since in future videos Mat gives the impression he hates Mario.

It Doesn't Take A Genius To Know That Mario's A Hero, I Know Mario Locked Up Donkey Kong , But He Only Did That To Get Back At Him For Kidnapping His Old Girlfriend, Pauline. Mario Does Save The Princess And The World From Danger So Many Times, I Have Played So Many Mario Games, And None Of Them Ever Showed Mario Abusing His Brother, Or Yoshi, Speaking Of Which, He Did Save Luigi From King Boo In SM64DS And Luigi Returned The Favor In Luigi's Mansion And It's Sequel, So They Have A Very Good Brotherly Relationship. I Know This Is Just A Theory, But A Very Fake One At That!

I play Mario games because they're fun but I usually choose Luigi more 'cause he's a little sweetie. Anyways, when I saw the Game Theory for the first time, I was shocked at how many details I missed like the blocks being the mushroom people under a spell. And after reading a few comments on the video, I started to wonder... 'What if Bowser was actually the hero?'
