This is called Genetic Variation. You see, you get part of your appearance from your mom, part from your dad, and part from mutation. This explains those freckles you have instead of your parents' tans, or your height when your parents are short. It is the same for hair (or in this case, fur) coloring and patterns.

Here is Kandi [link] i did leave out the ear tuffs cause it didn't seem to fit her (ill make sure one of her sons has the ear tuffs) but her shoulder spots are still there their just behind her ear ^_^

ok ^^ and I have a question for you about genetics:
Ok I have these two ponies Nisetti [link] and Bloodlier [link] , and I want to make them a son, but I don't know if he would take after Nisetti (The dad) or Bloodlier (the mom)
Also what is the possibility of him having his mom's species and his dad colouring or vice versa?

Oh wow. I just studied Genetic Variations for like 2 days, so I'm no expert, but I'll do my best here. ^^'
As far as coloring goes, the body color seems like it would be some sort of grey, since both parents have a darker grey for their main body.
When it comes to those sorts of genetics, the things the parents have in common are more likely to be carried down to the child. Everything else is relitivly 50-50.
My NON scientific advice is to keep the mom features and dad features pretty evened out. So, if the filly ends up having the mom's hair colors, make it have the dad's style. Something like that. And you want to keep the random mutations to a minimum. C: Hope this helps~
