Description ...Or at least, my version of Bumblebee.

Having recently gotten into transformers (ever since the live action movies,) I thought popped into my head to try and design and redesign some myself. So I went on the internet, looked up a whole bunch of stuff, and gave it a shot.

Needless to say, it is not easy getting these guys right; you can't just make a car and a robot and say it's a transformer! No! Ya gotta show the robot is that car and it can transform from it. So I made a couple of designs, tried it out and didn't like it. I first started with Optimus, but had trouble designing the flatbed (he's a flatbed, not a firetruck!) and the idea that his legs come from the back platform thingy just wouldn't work. If it did, it wouldn't be a realistic flatbed! So I took a break from the leader and started on the kids' favorite: Bumblebee.

I took a couple of design ideas from his various incarnations: his classic volkswagon beetle car, the style and physique of Tranformers Animated, and a few knickknacks from the live action movie.

...I think I got this one right.

So comment and stuff, and I'll see if I can finish Optimus or the other guys.

Oh yeah, and bumblebee is owned by...what was it, hasbro? or...bah! whoever owns him ow.

Thanks, and it was either that, or figure out some other place the hands come from.

Frankly, the idea that they can shape the rubber in the tires like they can move their metal around seemed like a good idea.

Makes things easier too.
