Description
Monitor lizards diversified a lot until Xenocene as suggested by this phylogenetic tree from !A group of them adopted bipedalism and long hind legs. The rostrornisaurus is one of them, it feeds on insects and crabs, and hunts them with its huge beak. It's a surprisingly fast animal compared to its size.
The crest under their beak allows male to attract female with brilliant colors.
Those awesome colors also trap some insect, because it looks like a flower.
This animal lived during the late xenocene, 90 to 95 million years in the future.
