Description
The Pillarneck (Maxicollus phytus) is a weird browser herbivore descendant of some flightless azhdarchid pterosaurs that inhabits the forests of Indonesian islands during the Holocene in an alternative world where mass extinctions didn't happen as on our world, letting pterosaurs Azdarchids live and diversify in many ways. It is characterized by its long neck that comprises almost the whole body of the animal, reaching heights of up to almost 4 meters, with small but thick legs alongside robust neck vertebra help it stand. They are mostly slow and get most of the moisture and food from the plants they eat, although it is capable of lowering its neck like a giraffe to drink water, with its anatomy it is a bit difficult and is not able to do it unless urgently needs hydration.

nope, it just came up for the anatomy of their short necked ancestors that had this part of the neck tissue connected and just lengthened alongside the neck vertebra

only idea i can think of is that it feeds on food that is high in moisture so it doesn't NEED to drink

I got one question about this, why would this pterosaur survive extinction in the mid-Cretaceous (not Late Cretaceous, unlike reality) if they're still very large? I'm not mad, I'm just confused.
Anyway, nice animal!
