Description
Phobopithecines is a family of monkey descendants of gelada created by . The savannah phobopithecus lived in the late Xenocene, 85 my after anthropocene. This specie of phobopithecus is adapted to survive in tropical grasslands, like its cousins, it's an omnivore, eating plants and insect, and sometime small mammals, like modern chimps, but they are not specialized browsers or terrifying predators.
Their bony like ridge above the eyes are used to attract females.
Their size is similar to that of the alpine phobopithecus.
They often fight with the giant pantherapitecus, but only juveniles one, since a grown giant pantherapithecus is twice heavier than a phobopithecus, with claws and teeth so... yeah don't mess with them.

Yeah, we can't keep the gelada's feet on such a large body.

Plus, they live on Rifteria (the landmass that separated from Africa from the eastern rift), it can be considered as an island gigantism evolution.

Well, it's a gelada convergent evolution with the gorilla, just like every animal which took this niche in the past (Chalicotherium, megatherium, gorilla and probably gigantophitec) growing larger is a great adaptation...

he IS pissed , it's a very aggressive creature, to fight against a thing like the ichtyophagithecus, it has to be crazy.
