Description "I hate the city. You can't see the stars."
"That's why you have to swing."
"Swing?"
"Mhmm. If you swing high enough, you can go above the lights and piss yellow smog of the city."
"And then I'd get to see the stars?"
"And then you'd see the stars."

This was only going to be a sketch. And then it wasn't.

Random thing I'm proud of: the power lines.

Kind of but not exactly. Not the part about swinging. But Diego and I ARE frustrated that we can't see the stars because of the city lights. A couple of nights ago the sky was so clear that we actually COULD see some stars! We went out and lay on the grass in the park like your typical corny star-gazing couple, and wished we could do it more often. That's where this comes from.

*sigh* so pretty.

Honestly, there's no critiquing this. Drawings, paintings, all of it can be improved, but this is so lovely just the way it is. I LOVE that with my screen and the way it fits that if I scroll from the bottom up I see the smoggy city, and then just the glow of the city, the girl, and the night sky.

Wow, really? That's incredible. I'm really proud of myself now. You always have something constructive to say about what could be better.

lmao Am I TOO constructive?

But like I said, art pieces can always be improved, but it's great the way it is. Improving on it would probably take away some of the stylization and magic.

No, you're NOT too constructive lol Every time I put "critique desired" I know I'll be getting an insightful and really helpful and honest comment from you. And you have no idea how much I appreciate that. o.o

I'm glad lol. I know sometimes I sneak in critiques even when you don't want one but it IS just because I know you'll appreciate and listen to what I say (naow buy me hot chocolate! *sends you on errands*). Sometimes I do that with other friends and I'm not sure how they feel about it

*Hobbles over with hot chocolate* *Spills some* D: SORRY MISTRESS. ; ;

Seriously, I always appreciate it. Except in those veeeery rare occasions when I ask for no critiques, I always want to see more than just "Cool drawing."
