Some fan characters for the Hidden Lands of 's world. Less this time, J'Gar's do not come as easily to me as Berengas I guess. XD

Malibu "Yaah" (Chumash word meaning noisy surf, Yucatec word meaning love): A pumara from the northern Hidden Lands, Malibu lead a contented life with her small family unit - mother, father, sister, and her new husband. That is, until she is kidnapped by a group of J'Gar, who take her far from her homeland and down into the dark depths of the Amazon, on rumors of her having a remarkable ability to find gold and other precious items (an ability she does not actually possess). Stranded in a strange land, she must use all her luck and wits to stay alive, and off the radar of the J'Gar leader's eldest offspring, Chich Íik - who wants her powers for himself.

Áantik (Yucatec word meaning aid, assist, help, accomodate): Second son of his tribe's leader. Áantik is an apprentice star-reader, believing that you can divine one's future from them. Reading his own, he becomes convinced that his fate is somehow intertwined with that of the pumara captive, Malibu. He does his utmost to convince her too, but the pumara gives precisely zero rat's asses about his crazy beliefs, and finds herself with yet another conundrum she must delicately extract herself from, whilst at the same time not alienating her one source of help against Chich Íik. Calls Malibu "Yaah", as she refuses to give her name to the J'Gars.

Chich Íik (Yucatec word meaning hurricane): The eldest son of the J'Gar tribe's leader. He is the one responsible for sending the J'Gar scouts to abduct the pumara he heard fantastic rumors about, intent on them bringing her back so that he can rip out her heart and eat it, to gain such powers for himself to conquer neighboring tribes. He is constantly thwarted by his younger brother Áantik, though sometimes his father intervenes as well. (Has fossilized Gigantosaur teeth on his crown, that were taken from a tribe he conquered who liked excavating that sort of thing XD)

Raio (Quechua word meaning lightning): Chich Íik's adopted and favored daughter, taken in when he led a conquest against her mountain J'Gar tribe and killed her real father. Raio would have been killed as a sacrifice, but Chich Íik decided - after she had killed three of her captors with electric eels - that her type of cleverness was what was severely lacking in his blood-heir, and sacrificed him in her stead. Since then, the young J'gar has stuck by his side like glue, ready at a moment's notice to prove to her father that she has not slipped. (Has arapaima fish scales around her neck, for those who might be curious. Also ran out of space on my paper so her lines aren't finished >>)
