Indeed, that does seem to be why it's done a lot! It makes it easier to deal with a bad outcome.

I listen to a lot of things o: Alternative (like all time low, mariana's trench, a day to remember, paradise fears, etc) but a lot of indie things like Daughter, Mumford and Sons, Death Cab for Cutie, Of Monsters and Men--etc.

Oh, that sounds like a great selection!! I recently discovered Mumford and Sons, they're amazing...Death Cab For Cutie is great too. I'm a fan of Coldplay as well, & the Goo Goo Dolls (although I have yet to hear more of their songs). Yep, I like the music more on the mellow side.
I listen to classical or instrumentals as well. And then there's a side of me that loves Latino music. I take Zumba classes too and that's loads of fun.
