Description
i don't really knowmuch about heroes
but you were the Gatsby
to my Nick Carraway
because i know two things:
yours was a rotten crowd,
and you
were worth m o r e than
the whole damn bunch
put together.

Thank you!
I have a whole collection of things I call 'tidbits,' and this happens to be the eighteenth. To keep them clear in my mind, I title them as such. (:

Ah, okay. Shakespeare himself titled his sonnets as numbers, which I do whenever I write a sonnet.

C'est magnifique. This is a beautiful poem. Short, but meaningful and filled with emotion (and Gatsby feels).
Gatsby was an amazing novel.

Merci! (:
I really appreciate this! Thank you so much.
Gatsby feels are some of my favorite feels.
AND YES, yes it was. Some lines in that novel are going to stick with me forever.
One of my favorite books. (:
But again! Thank you.

"So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past." <-Quite possibly the best line ever written.
