Description
you weren’t only madefrom spun rainwater
woven into clouds;
you were passed through
the exhales from angels,
whispers of dreams that
fell from their lips and
morphed into nebulae.
you weren’t just fabricated from
fingertips of something more,
whatever that may mean;
you were touched by
a constellation--
a cluster of asteroids so bright
it couldn’t help but
rub off on you.
you were made from
the dying breath
of a galaxy;
the final notes it hummed
as it exploded into
particles of grace
floating around in a
navy-lit sky.
you were made from
a star’s melody,
the song it sang every night
until it found a better use
and gave itself up
for you.
you give back something beautiful
every time you breathe.

Darling, you need to know how special you are. I may be way out of line here, but I feel like you need to know that beautiful and strong things can come from the least inviting places and experiences. Fire refines, and pressure clarifies.

The only thing I saw out of place was "you were passed through/the exhales from angels." Beautiful image, but I'd change the wording, no? Is "exhales" a noun..? Isn't it "exhalations"? Who knows...hm, how about "you were passed through/the exhalations of angels"...maybe that flows better. C:
