My lovely, lovely lioness: don't let the thoughts and opinions of others (or even yourself) degrade the value of this piece. It's okay to have pieces you don't like, and of course there are those pieces others do not like, as well. However, for me, this piece was beautiful... and it connected so well with the mindset I'm in right now in my life. To see something so blunt and relatable.. it was a breath of fresh air. I don't know... with me, having someone understand just loosens the constraints of my ribs, and it allows me to exhale. Thank you.
I really like this one quote: "nothing is original; everything is inspired." It's all about how you execute your idea, and I thought you did so beautifully. I, personally, have not seen a piece executed in this way. Two people obviously thought this worthy (the lovely person who suggested it, and the person who featured it) and god, I back their decision a hundred percent. I think I saw somewhere before that one person who features DD said the following: "I feature pieces that I think are lovely and that I want to share with the community." So, maybe if you cannot like it now, perhaps you can at least know that some do, and maybe your perspective will change with time. If not, then at least know it is definitely not crap. Far, far from it, in my opinion. (:
