Description
Another one done, might need to rephotograph as this one seems to have a bit of uneven lighting happening. Also, I know the hand looks a little odd, I've struggled to figure out what is wrong with it today so I'll look at it again another day.

A rather forlorn looking pose, it's quite sweet. Your isolation of the person theme is a nice series of work, though I'm rather curious to know what your references look like.

The reference images aren't all that impressive, I'm not the best at photography so it takes a bit of improvising to get them the way they are.
And I don't have permission from my models to be uploading the original reference images, my contract with them says they will be used for reference for paintings/drawings only.

References are references. They don't have to be immaculate pieces of art. What you create with them as a guide is the art.
Ah, okay. That does make a big difference then.

The short perspective on the hand makes it look strange. The pose would look more relaxed if the right hand followed the foot ankle. Otherwise a stunning picture. π

Β Exquisite as always.
The upper body (the detail shot you maid) is truly stunning in quality tones, texture and volumes.
As for the hands, it is always a very difficult part to paint, as we are in fact very focused on them, and the slightest incongruity is striking even to the casual observer. An ingrained trait...
It may have to do with the way the model held hers. She seems to have used quite a bit of strength to hold the pose (the veins on the left hand) compressing in turn unduly the right one which she may have tried to still hold casually.
Also the angle of light you have chosen makes it even more difficult than the already challenging rendering.
All in all it is a very good piece.
Thank you for sharing.
