You shouldn't bother shippers with your hatred of shipping. Some ships are very legit and have actual hints seen in the show that something romantic is happening off-screen, others are wishes for a certain couple to become true and again others are done for creative purposes, to explore how it would be if two certain ponies/creatures would be in a romantic relationship together or have a crush on each other, and it's not your place to question or judge any of this.

Edit: Also, your hatred of shippers here is funny considering how you ship certain characters from EQG. Hypocrisy, much?

Why do you think that? Applebloom and Scootaloo considered Button Mash as one of the possible candidates for Sweetie Belle's secret admirer, so that hints at it that he has shown feelings for Sweetie Belle before and that this was the reason why Applebloom and Scootaloo thought of him. And we never saw Button Mash expressing or saying that he isn't romantically interested in Sweetie Belle. Plus, Sweetie Belle didn't show any aversion against the idea of Button Mash being the one, either.

If anything, the fact that Applebloom and Scootaloo thought of him as a possible candidate and investigated him in that regards is giving some evidence that he either has feelings for Sweetie Belle or that he had feelings for her at some point in the past, so this is more of a confirmation, than it is a confutation.

I didn't ignore anypony. I talked about Button Mash because you brought up SweetieMash. And the other colts on the chart don't deny that ship. It only means that there are quite many colts who crush on Sweetie, which isn't a surprise, if you know her.

Actually, the CMC believed that the colts on the chart had a crush on Sweetie and one of them is the possible admirer, but none of them was. Also, Scootaloo herself said that they asked every colt in Ponyville but got nothing.

I wonder why Sweetie wasn't the one asking Button, but instead it was Scootaloo.

You're trying to coax me into believing that the SweetieMash ship sunk. Not going to work, because the facts presented by the episode say something different.

None of them was the secret admirer who sent Sweetie Belle this package, because there was no secret admirer who did that to begin with. It was a package that was supposed to get sent to Sugar Belle, not Sweetie Belle. So each and every pony they would have asked would have turned out as the wrong candidate, because there simply was no right candidate who did this.

Additionally, what they asked the colts about was if they sent that package to Sweetie, because, that was who they were looking for, the sender of that package. So when all the colts said "no", they were talking about that they didn't send such a package to Sweetie Belle. That the aren't the secret admirer who did this.

Ultimately, this only proofs that none of them sent something to Sweetie because of having a crush on her. It does not indicate that they don't have a crush on her at all, though.
You need to pay more attention to the plot. Or rewatch the episode, because you're missing things.

And, yes. Your comment sounded a lot like you have forgotten that there was no secret admirer in the first place, hence why none of the colts (or, anypony in Ponyville) could have done this.

Though, now I just thought about it that more creatures than just ponies live in Ponyville now (well, the Student Six, and Cranky and Mathilda, who I somehow forgot about, but they're old, I doubt Sweetie would be interested, and they already have their special somedonkey) and I realized that it would have been great if there would have been one and if it would have turned out that Silverstream was the secret admirer. Somehow, I can see her and Sweetie Belle being together really well.

I would root for this, if it weren't for it that we've seen such obvious signs of a certain perfect chemistry between Silverstream and Gallus in "A Matter of Principals".

Also, have one more argument that I just realized:

Too shy to ask~ A common symptom of a crush. So that she let Applebloom and Scootaloo handle it to ask Button adds one more hint. *goes and writes the hint down in the depths of his brain*
