X'D If Queen Chrysalis had actually done something like THIS, instead of trying to pretty-much kill everybody, then she would have readily been accepted as a useful, productive member of pony society, AND she wouldn't have had to get her hands dirty in any way shape or form!!! It is not a fanfic yet, but it totally could be! Not even smut! I'm thinking like a "hey we're starting a business, let's see how this thing goes", and then because of what they're doing everypony finds out things about each other and themselves, and eventually they learn stuff by it. You know. "Friendship is Magic" type stuff. About how ponies are perceived and treated differently because of it, or how there are some conflicting interests they didn't even know about that they have to work out, and eventually everypony gets their stuff straightened out and they treat each other with more respect as a result. And even beyond that, Queen Chrysalis and her "minions" develop (or make known) their own identities and are accepted for who they are, instead of who they're pretending to be. Something like that.

I've read at least one fic where Chrysalis starts up a business doing exactly this, completely upfront and legal. Everything from the perfect date to the chance to tell your lost loved ones the words you never got to say. Even slightly less salubrious services where you can rent the services of a changeling who looks and sounds exactly like a crush... or a celebrity obsession... or an ex...
There's also at least one Rationalist-Twilight AU fic where, after she defeats the changelings, she isolates Chrysalis, integrates the changelings into Equestrian society (forcibly at first) as performers, celebrity impersonators and doubles, super-heroic guardponies, supermodels, implausibly perfect fictional-character actors, and so on, lets them gorge themselves on the adoration of their audiences, and then turns them back over to Chrysalis. The logic, in this case, being that Twilight is acting in the interests of Equestria, and as such is perfectly willing to arrange for changelings to be stuffed to bursting with Equestria's oversupply of genuine love and acceptance - in exchange for Equestria acquiring a new species of citizen which can fly, use magic, shapeshift - and is prepared to savagely defend its newfound food source (and full access to the fruits of civilization) from external armies, wandering monsters, escapees from Tartarus, and assorted other regional and national threats. (She also commissions a whole pile of terribly-written cheap changeling-on-pony romance novels to, er, increase acceptance of changelings in society. So to speak.)

When the alternative is killing everybody by literally draining the heart and soul out of them...yeah! ^^0 And they do say "dating services", not "pimp", so they probably might not cover the same services as a "pimp". Also, this at least makes it a win-win situation, which I can respect. ^^ If anything, it's probably closer to that "dollhouse" series or whatever that was popular on tv a while ago, but without the worse side effects...though that series was not something I wanted to watch... ^^0

That aside, WHY is that ship a thing? I'm assuming because the fandom is willing to ship whoever they can purely because they can, but incest? There should be some rules on who can be shipped with who.

These rules sound good. Approved ships should have something like a Cadance-Seal-of-Approval to show that they do, indeed, follow the rules. And while rule #4 does suck for me, I respect it.

I mean, I suppose a book with legs COULD exist (magic!), but animating non-living objects to ease your sense of loneliness and sexual frustration seems a little too desperate and prone to backfire even for Twilight.
That aside, this was hilarious. All of it. The changelings could make a killing by making up for the skewed gender ratio in Equestria.

That's actually a very goof idea 
I always though of the changeling race as full of potential. It is a pity they don't show them anymore in the TV-show.
As a species, who's survival depends on how much others like/love them, one would think, that changelings should stop stealing love and trey to earn it instead. There are so many roles they could fulfill: actors, artists, fashion-models, singers, and even.. ahem... escorts and courtesans.
