I Am Darth Vader - David Prowse played Darth Vader in the original three films, voiced by James Earl Jones. This is my pencil portrait of the man shown in his later life next to the iconic villain Darth Vader. On a personal note, I wish George Lucus had kept his promise and had David Prowse both Seen and Heard at the end of Return of the Jedi when Vader's mask is removed. "Just for once… let me look on you with my own eyes,”... Instead they put in the actor Sebastian Shaw. If they had used David, he could have also been the Jedi Ghost at the end of that film, which would in my humble opinion been a fitting end to a fantastic trilogy and that amazing character that he played so very well. RIP David Prowse MBE.
