It's too late for Halloween, but it would've been late anyways. I got the idea from Optimus's freakout in that Rescue Bots episode called "Big Game".Man, I wish I'd slept and done my homework instead of scribbling this up tonight.

While I appreciate this happening in a little kids show with safe, cartoony graphics, I do wonder how something like this would turn out in something as grimdark as TFP...

Right? I mean, we all know how dark it went...but after seeing Airachnid the first time killing some splattering blood on the walls and the deleted bits of the Megatron death, I can honestly see that happening somehow (O -- O)

After Optimus turns into a dinosaur, he gets a bit loopy from low blood sugar and is kidnapped by a big game hunter, so then the Rescue Bots have to go rescue him.

The first two episodes of the third season comprise this little story; this was from the second one. The villain of the day comes back later in the season, though.
You probably don't have to watch the other episodes to get this one, but they're all pretty cute! Some unexpectedly terrifying. If you have free time, I'd say they're worth taking a look at.
