Something I actually drew last christmas, but just got around to colloring now. See how behind I am? Bleh lolI love this character, she's so awesome. Oh, and yes, her limbs are supose to be outragously out of proportion xD She's part bird, so her limbs are very long. She's also a member of a tropical clan, she, in particular, is a doctor
that's all for now, oh! and if you think up a good name for her, lemme know <3 since I plan to do more with her.

Superb picture, really. Beautiful detailwork and amazing colouring. It's the little things like the moss on the trees and the rocks in the stream that make this stand out. I feel so lazy looking at the work you put into this. And that water is something else. Great job!

The lanky arms make her look young and innocent rather than disproportioned. She looks as if she is at that awkward stage between childhood and adulthood when your arms and legs become too big for you and you feel scrawnier than you'd like to be. Since she is a doctor, I'm sure she is older than that, but her anatomy seems to work when the character is placed in such a warm background alongside such lovely and whimsical creatures.

Great pic! You did a good job making the "wrong" limb proportions look pretty natural. I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out.
