Description
In my Reboot Universe, in 2270 when the Enterprise returned to Earth after Captain Pike's five-year mission, the ship was dry-docked to undergo an extensive overhaul and refit. Over the next two years it essentially became a new ship, whilst the crew roster saw several leave and welcomed a host of fresh faces.Commanding Officer - Captain "Number One" Dahl (Unknown)
Recommended for the command by Captain Pike, she has spent every day of the last two years onboard, overseeing the work and fine tuning her new crew. Though no longer the XO, all the previous crew still call her "Number One". I gave her the last name of Dahl, even though its a human name in the right context it could also be alienish.
Executive Officer - Commander Willard "Will" Decker (Human)
It took her almost eighteen months to choose her new XO, finally she decided on the son of her former mentor and friend, Matthew Decker. Will is brand new to Command, brilliant but untried and untested. He also has an intimate past with Lieutenant Ilia.
Chief Engineering Officer - Commander Montgomery "Scott" Scott (Human)
With Number One, he has seen Project Enterprise through every day of the last two years. There are even parts of the redesign he had to rewrite as they were working, knowing that they simply wouldn't cut it.
Chief Helm Officer - Lt. Commander Hikaru Sulu (Human)
Though eager for advancement and a command of his own, he couldn't turn down the chance to serve on the redesigned Enterprise, just to see what the old girl had in her.
Chief Communications Officer - Lt. Commander Nyota Uhura(Human)
She always knew she would return to the Enterprise, so took a post teaching at the Academy, where her class (and the many stories she had to tell) became well known and one of the best attended in many years.
Chief Medical Officer - Lt. Commander Leonard "Bones" McCoy (Human)
After Pike's mission, he retired from active service and went into private practice. But after a visit from Number One, who asked him to return to act as her moral compass as he had with Pike, he agreed. Though he's not sure how he'll get along with Janice Rand, now she is a Doctor instead of a Nurse.
Chief Security Officer - Lieutenant Joan Mia Colt (Human)
Better known to all as Mia, Pike's feisty former Yeoman now heads up the ship's Security section. Now trying out a long-distance relationship with Joe Tyler, it doesn't stop her from using her feminine wiles when the situation calls for them.
Chief Navigation Officer - Lieutenant JG Ilia (Deltan)
Sensual and alluring, her Oath of Celibacy is on file, but that can't stop many of the crew fawning over her, as even among Deltans she is stunningly beautiful. She has an intimate past with Commander Decker, though she remains strickly professional onboard.
Chief Science Officer - Ensign Xon (Vulcan)
Mr Spock's full-blooded Vulcan replacement. His record lists him as a prominent scientist and teacher, though it is hard to believe at just twenty-two. A genius, even by Vulcan standards, he is however baffled by how emotions control his non-Vulcan shipmates so completely.
Captain's Yeoman - Ensign Pavel Chekov (Human)
Fresh from Starfleet Academy, he wants adventure and fought tooth and nail to get his name on the list for the Enterprise. Meticulous and hard-working, he also has a mischevious side.
FORMER CHARACTERS
Commanding Officer - Captain Christopher "Chris" Pike (Human)
Promoted to Commodore and assigned to Starfleet Command as Director of Deep Space Operations, making him the Enterprise's supervisor back on Earth. He still finds it tough flying a desk, but seeing all the good he can do for the fleet, he knows it was the right decision to make.
Chief Science Officer - Lieutenant Spock(Human/Vulcan)
He was offered a four-year posting to the deep space survey ship U.S.S. Beagle, with a promotion to Lieutenant Commander and the new billet of Executive/Chief Science Officer. He made the logical choice for his career and accepted.
Chief Security Officer - Lieutenant Thelinamareth "Thelin" ch'Vahress (Andorian)
He was headhunted by the Starfleet Security to become part of their elite Tactical Response Unit--officers and specialists considered the best of the best, sent into extremely dangerous situations to resolve the matter. Fifteen months into his new assignment, Lieutenant Commander Thelin was killed in action.
Chief Navigation Officer - Lieutenant JG Jose "Joe" Tyler (Human)
He had intended to be on the crew, but two weeks before they were due to depart, he was offered an opportunity he couldn't turn down. The scout ship Artemis needed a new Executive Officer with extensive qualifications in Navigation and Tactical, so Number One recommended him for the post. He is and Mia Colt are still involved in a relationship, though across light-years might prove difficult for the two of them.

Thanks.
One thing I always liked about the TMP uniforms was the sheer variety that was available, so I had to make use of them here.

The downside BTS is that the cast had trouble getting the costumes off so they could use the head.

I do find it surprising that costume designers didn't take that into consideration when developing the new uniforms.

Well as McCoy twice said to Spock, "Nobody's Perfect."

There are a couple of responses to that:
1. That is quite true; or
2. I'm a nobody, thus perfect

I may have to do the line up for James R. Kirk's mission as well. It would need to have Mitchell, Dehner, and Boyce, then maybe M'Ress and Arex for some alien diversity.
We'll see what happens.

In the ReBoot universe version of Star Trek II, Mia Colt would scream annoying like Kim Basinger's Vicki Vale in Batman 1989 when the Ceti eel enters through her ear.

"Next time on Star Trek Phase II, the sinister Khan Noonian Singh hijacks the Starship Artemis and sets his sights on the Enterprise hoping to destroy the ship that Marooned him and his people on the Desolate planet Ceti-Alpha V, Meanwhile Admiral Pike boards the Enterprise for an inspection of the 35 year old ship but find himself thrust into the Center seat once again to face off against Khan once again, who will be victorious and who will face death? Find out next time on Star Trek Phase II."
"The Wrath of Khan"
This would probably make for good motivation to bring Tyler back aboard the Enterprise.

You make it sound as though I know exactly what will happen in the ReBoot universe. I just make it up as I go and see what happens.
Though with Phase II in place, you probably could just jump to TWOK for the first feature. Not sure about how TSFS would fit in, or TVH for that matter. TFF would be completely dropped, but TUC would be kept.

I was just doing a Don Lafontaine Impersonation, I like to do that from time to time to make a concept for a preview of what the Episode or movie will be like.

And remake the ending to TUC, where the Klingon BOP fires a photon torpedo to the connecting dorsal of the Enterprise-A between the primary and secondary hulls. The Enterprise-A saucer section was severed from the secondary hull, Excelsior beamed all of the crew of the primary hull of the Enterprise aboard and all of the senior officers to the Khitomer conference, just as the Enterprise-A's fusion reactors overloaded and destroyed the entire primary hull.

On second thought, instead of the exploding primary hull, how about Number One (aka Dahl) rides the saucer section planetside crashing into the conference room and saving the day.
