I usually don't have trouble with animals, but on this occasion, I was surprised by how challenging bears are to draw. Their bodies are easy but their faces are incredibly tricky. If you are even a little bit off with the shape of the snout or the size of the eyes, they come out looking too much like dogs, tigers, or wolves. Anyway, this piece was a commission, for a guy who buys a lot of my original art. He asked me to do a "scary version" of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". It was a lot of fun to do!Related content

It had its moments. The Red Riding Hood segment was, of course, much better than the most recent adaptation (not that I needed to see it to know). XD:

I always fantasized a story that Goldilocks killed the three bears with her bare hands.
I always saw Goldilocks as a strong and beautiful fitness model, not a unprotected little girl...

I prefer the fantasy of monsters chasing sexy girls. It's that old "Beauty and the Beast" concept I guess. The "strong woman who kicks ass" character never appealed to me. I like girls who are girly. Not girls trying to convince the world they are tough guys.

Just an idea, I always was impressed with strong girls, naturally strong, not trying to convince anybody.
the blend of cute and beauty plus strength sounds interesting.
Anyway, I also like girly girls.
Beautiful females have a plenty of ways to turn us on...

What do you mean, poor girl? If you recall the original story - she broke into their home, ate their porridge, broke their chairs, and started sleeping in their child's bed. The little brat deserves everything she gets!

Distressingly Alluring! Man, that has a nice ring to it. I'm guessing it means, beautiful even while being traumatized? If so, then yes, sooner or later, all my female characters usually end up being distressingly alluring!
