Description
Pen and ink on bristol board. For the past six months or so, I've been working on a freelance illustration project, a book about Fantasy Art. This is my black and white drawing for the cover illustration. Eventually I will color it, of course, and the publisher will put the titles on it and stuff. But before all that happens, I thought it would be fun to show off the line art.Related content

Awesome, they are fighting almost every single fantasy monster! Well, considering there are hundreds.. maybe even thousands of fantasy monsters, maybe not, but you cover the important ones. I cant wait to see it colored!

Thanks! This one was a lot of fun to do. I am having fun with this book but there is a part of me that is anxious to finish it so I can get back to my usual horror stuff. I want to do a horror illustration with this same kind of energy.

That's an old trick I stole of of guys like Bernie Wrightson, Frank Clement Cole, Franklin Boothe... Those guys did that stuff better than anybody.

What the hell is wrong with me. In the above post I misspelled the phrase "off of" as "of of" and called John Clement Coll "Frank Clement Cole" and misspelled "Franklin Booth" as "Franklin Boothe". Oh yeah I remember, that was the week I had a terrible cold and was stoned on Nyquil half the time.

YES! You're right! Where you could play as a barbarian, wizard, or dwarf. And if you set it for 2-Player, you could be one character, and your friend could be another character, and you could go around kicking monsters' asses together! Yes, that was a cool frikkin game! Thanks for reminding me.
