Dude, this is kick-ass.

I saw that movie for the first time a couple years ago with my now boyfriend. He had it on laser disc. When the part where the blood jumps out of the petri dish arrived, I literally jumped out of my seat. My boyfriend still makes fun of me to this day whenever we watch "The Thing."

not what im saying though i mean when it came out of that ship it had to have some sort of form that drove that ship a dog with spider legs and tentacles cant drive a ship the thing has to have asborbed the creatures cells in order to do so and the stuff that comes out of it's body often is usally a part of the thing's actual body the thing can look like anything your right but when it crashed a 10000 years ago it didnt look like a dog nor a human.

I always wonderd what that monster actually looks like though... i think it's some sort of a plant like alien if you notice when the guy's head fell off it had green like stems in the inside of it's body also so far as i know this monster's true form all i know is that it has Teeth And Tendrils or tentacles and has spider legs that's it. XD

Thank you! Funny thing is, I never try to make my art look "retro", I just draw the way I draw. That said a lot of my favorite artists are guys from the 50's, 70's, and 80's so maybe that's where the "retro" thing comes from. But it's not on purpose, it must be a subconscious inspiration.
