Alrighty, time to go back to the villains for a bit, and at the same time another character update!

This time I updated one of the biggest bads of the entire Extraordinary Mythos setting, Captain Meteor's archnemesis, champion of the Annihilation Force and dread lord of dim Rag'Narok, the one and only Eschaton!

I didn't want to completely redesign him, as by and large I am happy with the original design, but there were details I wanted to update. One of them was to make Eschaton taller and wider, in the same proportions as the most recent iteration of Thunder Woman villain Dominus; since Eschaton draws from the same "brutish extraterrestrial conqueror" archetype, it only made sense to update him to match my update for Dominus. The other part was to make him visually more "visible" and less inscrutable; apart from the bright pale purple elements, the previous design's details are really hard to make out due to all the black in his design; this time I went for a dark gray, just light enough to make his design elements more apparent. And finally, I had come up with an idea to better represent the gaping hole in his torso made by Captain Meteor's arm, and for the most part I was able to execute my vision of the front end of that opening. Not that Eschaton seems to mind it all that much, being an entity who draws his power from the primordial abyss and physical manifestation of absolute annihilation.
