Description

So an additional few weeks late, we are now done with the THIRD trinity of Olympians, and the first that I have never done before! Well, I had taken cracks at Hephaestus and Artemis before, they just never went anywhere and I started from scratch this time around.

This time we have Artemis, Apollo, and Hephaestus. Being as I wasn't updating something I had done before, these guys were a bit more difficult to figure out and come up with ideas for how to represent them, but once I decided what elements of their characters I wanted to emphasize, the rest fell into place.

Another thing that separates this group from the two previous sets is that all of these guys are Thunder Woman villains! Hephaestus acts as a kind of lackey to Hera and helps with constructing or devising various instruments for her schemes, and sometimes her plots involve acquiring certain items in order to facilitate his work, while Artemis and Apollo form a kind of twisted power couple who act as a secondary Olympian menace separate and distinct from Hera's brand of villainy. More details will come with the individual postings.

So, that's it for these guys. After I'm done with them I do have a couple other characters I did that I will post before resuming this series. The next set will include Demeter, Hestia, and Aphrodite, and then after that I will round things off with Dionysus for the Olympians. So he's not all alone, I'll have Hera and Herakles come give him company.

Other Olympians and Greek mythological characters I plan on tackling afterwards include Persephone, Charon, and Arachne. Plus I have an itch to update the Neohydra, as well as considerations for Cronus, Echidna, and Typhon. But we'll see whether I get those last three or not.

But in the meantime, I hope you guys enjoy this set, and stay tuned for uploads of the individuals!
