I use use fingers, hands and cork board strips to blend.
The paper I use is like sandpaper, so the next day fingers can be quite sore

how did you achieve that smooth technique, did you smudge it with your fingers? or?

I use my fingers or whole palm to blend, for finer details I use blending sticks
