Description .Derwent Inktense pencils and white pastel on Fisher400

An experiment using the water soluble Inktense pencils with lots of water, then finishing with wet white pastel.

not only are the shades of red striking and beautifully dosed , but these eyes are highly intriguing because one can't quite know if they're dead or alive . i find this disturbing in a beautiful way .
