OKAY

So this is a curmudgeness crab, they are crabs which grow to a monstrous size and lurk beneath the waves of the vast ocean of Rimoria. Most have only been able to grow large enough to become a menace to small crafts but some have sworn to see one able to prey on even the largest of ships put to sail if it chose to. But the ones people are most familiar with have pinchers large enough that they could crush fishing boats and the smallest of ships. These crustaceans have a liking to shiny bits and bobbles, shimmering bubbles sure but most of all jewels and precious metals. The creature will then attach these treasures to its body to attract prey so it can feed. Their goal is to attract adventurers because sometimes they will be carrying pretty weapons, gear, or just simple loot which the creature never has enough of.
