She had a lovely idea for having mer-turtles that can have bubbles over their shells to house special treasures such as surface plants or people and here we go ^_^ their could also be a tortoise (land) variant to the race.

I love how the iridescence comes into the turtle's skin. That's a nest idea.
It would be pretty cool if these guys came in giant sizes that ferry people across big bodies of water or acres as trade ships and stuff!

that is pretty much the idea ^^ the small ones can put treasures inside of their bubble domes or a single person but there can be bigger ones that can carry more or even entire small lands upon their back like this none person turtle:
so they like to interact with peoples ^^
