Description
This was drawn for me by my friend
The band fish is nick named the pancake fish, it is large in height and length but it is rather flat. The fish has natural holes in its body which become covered with a film similar to simple bubble wand. Band fish swim through the sea in a docile easy going manner, the holes in its body are meant for creating bubbles to catch prey which might swim through them such as smaller fish, plankton, shrimp, etc. They then swim to the bubbles and begin to suck them into their mouth to draw in and munch on the food inside. Folk of the land and sea both however have found uses for the fish's empty bubbles, for tools and keeping air breathers alive mostly. The fish is a god send to air breathing explorers who are swimming about and in need of a breather.

that green fish is like: what are those two doing
also given the size
is it like a whale shark? (in the fact that it only eats plankton and other smaller fish?)
i read the description but does it not eat humans is my question?

It does eat smaller fish and plankton, whatever it can collect in its mouth but its mouth doesn't open very wide so it depends on sucking on a bubble with collected food inside it, until the whole bubble has been deflated and eaten along with the food that was inside it. I would say no to humans because the creature is incredibly flat as is and its mouth couldn't open to get a human in there so it goes after bubbles with smaller creatures.

Oh! That's a pretty good question you got there. I didn't even think about it when I drew it; but if I had to guess-and this is based on his other bubble creatures. That the adventures who don't make it out with the bubble and stay stuck in the fish, will probably get eaten or dissolve in the bubble that's still in the fish. At least that's what I think might be how these fish survive.
