not sure I like the icons, and I dislike the start menu, but it looks like it'd be very usable. I suppose my main gripe is that there's very little fun going on, it's more of a work interface than anything. The wall makes it awesome though.

im trying to get more dull and simple .... this is my "workstation" i suppose ... i want ALL my desktops to be something i can use on a daily basis ....
i turned clear type off .. and change ALL system fonts to pixel fonts ...
i know its not too exciting ... sorry ...
thats just not my style ...

No worries, not everything has to be flashy. I just think it's a little harsh at this point, as something ergonomic is usually quite soft. Muted colours, yes, heck, crisp pixel fonts, sure, but imo this takes it a bit too far.
It's got retro charm, but I think my main issue is actually that you've got the delicious, delicious items and an awesome colour scheme (as well as a nice, nice pixel font) and then gone and made everything blocky.
But whatever, everything matches and I'm sure it's lovely to work in, the interface just isn't to my taste.
90% of your stuff tickles my fancy, and you always produce something to talk about, so mleh, keep it up.

I figure people generally don't give much criticism these days, it's either "AWESOME LOVE IT +FAV" or "EW YOU SUCK QUIT LIFE FOREVER" which is kind of lame. In-depth comments are more interesting to write anyway
