This is my first tutorial I have ever done. I hope that it is helpful.I would have to thank :iconChiquetaElena: for the idea. She wanted to know how i colored hair. an i thought that I would do a tutorial on it. So here it is ready for you to use.
**NOTE: This is the way that I color hair. Don't jump all over my butt for not doining it the way that you would like to. Remeber that this is my tutorial an I'm showing you the way that I do it.**
other than that I'm open to all comments. I want to know how I did.

It's basicly a picture editing program that many people like to use to create pictures on. Like Adobe Photoshop CS ( or higher ) is a better program to use casue it has more tools than the Photoshop Elements (which is what I use)

Finally, a guide for doing colouring/shading stuff in PS that doesn't need a tablet!(Most of them people used tablets to do)

I know that's why I decidecd to make one that didn't ues one. even though I use one now. ^_^' but even before I got my tablet I did some perty darn good work ^_^

Drawing with a mouse is hard, at least I find so.

hey I don't do much with my hair either all I do is straighten it an that's it. I never do anything else with it. Yah it was a first time so I didn't expect it to be perfict

The avitar is basicly me but with out short hair (an I don't have purple eyes) but to answer your question my hair is about half way down my back (an wavy as hell)
I've left my hair in it's natural state but I can only do that for so long then it gets old. So I Straighten my hair. ^_^

Well, my hair I draw is basically how I look. My hair gets loose in it's ponytail, so some falls out, and it basically looks like bangs (Although I don't.. Truely.. Have any... It's all almost the same length X.x ) And, well... Yeah, the rest is kin'a self explanitory! XD

Yah I know it's kinda big. but once you've got the process down it's actually a lot smaller than you think.
What I did is I used someone elses loooong tutorial put a color over theirs then started mine from it. How I got the pictures is I did a print screen thing opened a new document an pasted it in there. selected the areas that I wanted. copyed it then pasted it to my tutorial. it's perty simple but a long process. took me about half a day to do the entire tutorial. but I'm sure in time i make them faster. it was a first one so it was going to take a while to do. ^_^

I don't think that you would have to have photoshop to do what I do. so long as you can free slect areas an smudge them (or soften them) you can do it. An with the burn an doge tool. all you would have to do is get darker or lighter colors an just adjust the brush sizes. There are ways of fallowing my tutorial. It wouldn't be exactly but it would be perty close. All I would have to say is experament with your program an see what you can do. That's what I did with mine an what I do looks almost like I used Adobe Photoshop CS when I'm using Elements. ^_^
