Description
Day Five Zero fo the Three Six Five Challenge of 2011
A milestone of the 365 challenge, the 50th day. I don't have
any special feelings about it, so let's get to the description:
Recently I've searched facebook in a bit more effectively, looking through the pages of my friends, and sadly there aren't many who like books.
This is a big problem in our world I think. In my opinion one of the causes of aggressivity is not having read enough in our lives.
Books can teach us so many things,

I really enjoyed reading your critique, thank you very much for taking the time to write down your feelings about my photo.
I know there are some things which are lacking in technique, maybe next time I'll pay more attention.
Anyways: thank you so much for these kind words.

I'll be honest, I know very little about photography. I rated it purely on personal aesthetic tastes. So don't take it too personally. And I was happy to critique your work. I felt that it deserved it.

First off, I love this. All of the different sizes of books piled messily on top of each other not only produces a quirky effect, but it also sends an inspirational feeling to the onlooker-- there are so many books of all different kinds to read! And the hands without an identity, springing out from nowhere, throws the command out at the onlooker as if is coming out of the computer screen. I love all of the different aspects to this photo-- the clumsiness, the haphazardness, the spontaneity of all of it, the numerous titles, all of the books-- some right side up, some upside down... This is the sort of photo that would be in an add for a book store-- it makes you hunger for the texture of the pages and the certainty of the text. Just that simple command thrust out with such force can get me thirsting for any book in the background. I love it. Love it. Love it.

OOh, I couldn't live without books!!
I don't recognize any of the title, from what I can make out, and most of it is in a foreign language anyway.
Anyways, I like the focus and the pair of hands reaching through the books- almost as if the books themselves are talking!

I agree with you whole-heartedly. I probably shouldn't be expecting "this much" of freshmen, especially those that still act like middle-schoolers, but when asked how many people in the room read, my hand was the only one that shot up. And you're really right! Since I've been reading, readingreadingreading I've accumulated alot of knowledge, and plan on more for as long as I live!
Great job! Loud, clear and simple!

Yup. But I'm planning to upload this one as a background, so if you can wait until then, you'll have a background that fits your screen.

I really love it. I wish I could plaster this message in the sky for all to read. Haha. I don't have many loves in my life, but foremost among the few is a good book, a comfy place to read it and a good friend to share it with.

This is such a lovely picture. It really did pop out at me! I love reading and I do agree that people should read more. People who don't read much miss out on so much! I even hate it when I don't have time to read for a while because I feel I'm missing out on something. This is really great!
