Elphaba is NOT very pleased to find Boq in the lettuces...Elphaba is from Wicked, or better known in Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the West.

Think about it: if Evil Alice can be a separate character from Good Alice, then Elphaba can be a separate character from the Wicked Witch of the West.
That's who Elphaba is: a sort of "Wicked Witch Impostor", only good instead of evil.

I really like this...so many fanarts of Elphie show her in witch garb, and don't focus on the times when she was just a human being that happened to have green skin...this picture shows more of the student side of her, the real Elphaba beneath the witch facade.

I absolutely adore this picture, how simple it is. And yet, it's one of the best pieces of art I've ever seen! Really, you did a wonderful job! If I had skill like that with drawing on computers, I'd be making some big bucks. I'm sure you could sell prints of this.
