Okay, I will admit that this isn't ALWAYS the reason why MMD will crash on me, but a good 98% of the time I go back and look and realise I have joints that aren't attached properly.If the problem persists and you are absolutely sure the joints are not the reason: Check out this tutorial on the error finder bufffycat.deviantart.com/art/P… . Sometimes there are other things very wrong with a model, and this will show you where to look for them. I think it can be very difficult to understand at first, and may take some trial and error to understand what each thing means.
And there is one of the first versions of my Cardverse edit. Last edited 22/05/13....

Alright I found your problem! Joint number 500 is missing a connection. You just need to find the physic it's meant to connect to and you will be all good to go. I picked something random to test and she loaded just fine into MMD for me :3

Well, can you send it back to me? I'm horrible at connecting joints, I tried but it caused the upper robe part that lies across her shoulders to glitch out. Again, take your time. If you can't send it to me, just tell me where you attached the joint to so I don't screw up XD!

Hopefully this works. I could only download the .pmx file because I could only download the files you sent me one at a time so I've been working with the untextured model.

But all of the joints are connected to something, they just aren't in the right place o-o'
EDIT: I'm gonna try moving the joints and fit them on the hair as good as possible, see if that works.
EDITEDIT: Nope. Still isn't working..

No don't worry I know what I did wrong now, I forgot to move the joints and that along with the hair and now MMD is telling me off cause I forgot xD I'll mess with it later, Not right now though cause I just woke up lol

I'm pretty new with MMD and that, and I was making a model as a little bit of a test, I guess, But I moved everything, and there was nothing really AWAY from it apart from a few floating green things that I couldn't get rid of, and MMD still crashed on me >~<
EDIT: Huh, the green things just poofed from existence, weird. But everything is in place and I got rid of the hidden joints that didn't do anything, but I don't know what else could be wrong o-o

For me I don't think it's the joints. She works before I edited her hair shorter and added an extra ponytail, which has worked in the past (I deleted the leftover bones and joints once it was shortened). It works fine in transform, and I don't see any extra joints Would you happen to know what might be going wrong?

I put a skirt on my model, but the physics just drop whenever I load her into MMD. I have all the joints in tact, and I tried weighing the skirt, but nothing happened. Can you PLEASE help me?

What if your model doesn't have moving parts for joints and such?

If they appear correct in the editor they could be attached to the wrong bones? You could screen cap a picture and send it to me

Have you checked the size of your texture files? That's the only other thing I can think of
