Description
thiis is a pic i drew in macromedia flash to satisfy my love of traditional oriental art. as i hav mentioned sumwhere before i like to do a lot of patterns. So i first drew the dragon on paper and then created and merged repltilian patterns on to it. then i started drawing it into flash. my aim was for this drawing to be completely pure, but that became unimaginably hard, so i traced some and drew pure some. i drew this show sum people that dragons are not always so friendly. the blood red colour on the back of the dragon is supposed to signify the bloodlust of the dragon and it's hunger for blood. so what do u think???summary:
time taken- 3 weeks
medium-vector art
mixture of pure and trace

Nice dragon.
But do you know that Chinese dragons are auspicious legendary animals for Chinese? They are very different from the Western dragons, whom usually the heros fight with to rescue the world/princess. Chinese dragons are not hunger for blood.

Woah, that's an awesome design! It would work very well as a tattoo. It's even better that you did it from scratch!

This is very nice, and looks like a proper ink print to be honest. And the design itself captures the essence of oriental art. And I like the white background, although it could be interesting to try different colours out, but this is something you could use more, develop some idea/design from this as its possibilities are endless.
A very nice pic to say the least, great job.

That is absolutely brilliant! The detail is perfect and the shape of dragon is exaclty how I would expect a piece of oriental art would be.
The onlything that I would critisize is that the white background doesnt work very well with the dragon. Maybe a light grung brown would be good but I'm not sure to be honest
