Secret WarsSame as the previous page: what once was Black & White is now in glorious Technicolor!
The page is simple, but the contents are crazy. Words cannot describe the fun I had drawing heroes and villains in fire clone form. You other artists out there just drawing fireball enemies: you don't know what you're missing.
Lots of characters in here too, so let me get started:

man, so good, your drawings are getting better as in line stroke, and you are adding way more per panel. excellent detail work, and it keeps my attention. i WANT to read it, i Want to look at it.

the story seems fast paste and losely held together. its about the action, about the art. see, i dont mind the lack of depth yet. your style and quirks make up for that. besides, its a comic.
look up the Blackest Night comics to see how even though its fast paced, there is a lot of depth.

The pace of the comic isn't entirely up to me.
Are you keeping up with the rest of the story as well on Kostmeyer's page? I'm only telling this from Pippin's point of view and I don't have the time to recount everything I want. Just the stuff important to the progress of the story.

but its so good, and your stuff kinda reminds me of the, yeah, cheap but great, sexy, innuendos, violence.
all youre missing is blood and the f word. oh yeah, and the rape scene (maybe the vampire? no, i kid).
so yeah, i would pick up your work, if it were just a simple story filled with action like this, driven by dialogue and situations, and just read the sucker dry.

Did you notice the Ritualist clone blocking Blaze's shot with a spoon and giving her the finger?

I wonder if rain will work against these guys? Remember that they aren't just fire elementals - Better check with ~Stegoceras to make sure whether this tactic would work!
Anyway, this is a great page - some fantastic little cameo scenes. I especially like the Virtus clone bouncing around!

Yeah, I cleared it with Stego. A normal rain won't kill them, but a downpour will put them out like any other fire.
God, it was so much fun making these clones I forgot to leave room for the word bubbles!

Is this the way in which the heroes finally defeat the Clone army, or is it just a section of them? I need to know so that I can put it in the right place in the journal.

The rain will pour down on the entire area.
Stego says that some of the clones will still survive by seeking shelter, but the there won't be any force left in the army after this.
Just put my final page with the clones melting at the end of the chapter.

I thought of that too.
I sent a general message around letting people know what I had planned and also asked if they were up for protecting Pippin while he preforms the ritual.
Wingstream had a similar plan, but we worked out a way to combine ours together in a way that made us both happy.

I wonder why the fire guy never saw rain as a problem for an army entirely made up of extinguishable forms of matter? ! Someone get a super soaker!

Pippin is trying to wipe out the whole army.
And I'd speculate that Dr. Ignacius made the clones as fireballs because he himself is a fireball. He's making them in his own image.
