Description
Secret WarsThe new heroes get a chance to catch their breath after the "heated" Fire Clone Battle. This page is as much an exercise in character interaction as it is a furthering of the plot. Fun to draw. The dying flame clones were the best.

Damn. Halfway through finishing that last panel it suddenly occurred to me how he may look with his shirt off next to a little girl who looks sad and intimidated. But really, I tired to make his expression look soft and compassionate.
Guess I failed.

Oh man! NO HAAAAAAAAT! Shas has no hat! IT was lost during the huge battle in chapter 7 before he entered the battleworld.

The troopers took some getting used to for me. But after going over some reference material, I got into the swing of making it up as I went. It was interesting to flex my creative muscle in a new way.
In fact, I should post that one panel of Shas in my Scraps just so people can see it without the text bubbles in the way.

I love your artwork. its getting better. the details are great, your girl with a showing navel is perfect, and everything is completely radicalized into being a super version of what you were giving us before.
