Here is my contribution to the contest to celebrate her 30K pageviews.

This is actually an idea that I’ve been kicking around in my head for a while now. However, I’ve just been so busy lately and I never had the proper motivation to draw this out until the contest was announced.
What I wanted to do with this was just make a picture of all of El Loco’s witch characters smoking together. I had planned on making a group picture with ALL of her smoking witches together, but there’s just so many! After drawing the fifth witch I finally just said to myself, “this is enough.” In any case, I think I at least got all the important characters in here. I made a point to include all the witches that El Loco had written stories about and/or drawn with some level of frequency.
My picture is simple yet (hopefully) funny, and anyone who knows me can tell you that I prefer my humor simple and clever. I tried my best not to let any one character over power the others. And as always, I always try to add the character’s personality in the figure as well.
PS: Sorry, Abby, that I didn’t include Millicent. I wanted to, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her smoke and I just had enough witches as it was.

Lucinda: Arguably Loco’s most popular character. Lucinda is one of the first characters that she introduced on DA and quite possibly the one with the most attitude. I’m a little more familiar with Lucinda. This is due to the little fan comic I made of her not too long ago. The important thing to remember about Lucinda when drawing her is that look on her face. She just has this death stare that is her trademark.
Twelve years old and used to getting her way, Lucinda is magically one of the most powerful creatures in existence. She sees herself as being superior to everyone else. And who can blame her when she has the ability to destroy worlds with a mere temper tantrum?

Abby: A tribute to the Wicked Witch of the West, Abby is a witch of El Loco’s own heart. Meaning that Abby is really Loco’s alter ego and is everything that Loco would like to be if SHE were a witch. Loco describes Abby as being a little fat, but still sexy. Men compete to go out with her. The losers get turned into toads (sometimes the winner too).
Abby is another witch I’m familiar with too, seeing as I drew her even before I drew Lucinda. I made sure to make Abby full figured and hot with plenty of curves.

Circe: Circe is technically not a witch. She’s a full blooded goddess. However, she’s a patron of magic and she smokes a lot, so I think she deserves to be here as much as the rest of them. Circe has the body and the style of a supermodel. In fact, if Circe weren’t a goddess of magic, I think she could be the goddess of fashion instead.
Circe is cocky and upbeat with a mean streak. With every magic spell ever invented at her beck and call, Circe is a force to be reckoned with. She has very little compassion for mortals except for the ones that worship her.

Minerva: She is the High Priestess of Circe and number one “go to” girl for the goddess. Minerva has worked hard to get where she is today. Through her own cunning and endless devotion to her goddess, Minerva has become one of the top magic users in the world. As you can see, Minerva is a semi-Goth with a thing for the color purple. She smokes special cigarettes called “Purple Passions”.

Selene: An up and coming witch that is training under Minerva. Selene strikes me as being the “rebellious teenager” type. She seems to be the one that tries the hardest to show how bad she is. Selene acts like she has something to prove. This sets her apart from the rest of the characters here, I think. Not that it’s a bad thing; I just think that the rest of the witches show a little bit more confidence in their powers.
With this in mind, I gave her a very brooding and dangerous look.
