Request for Thornwolf33
He wanted to see his wolf dude as s spear soldier in a particular armor. Pretty straight forward I suppose.
I took this as an opportunity to practice posing, as well as dark coloring. I seem to have real trouble with shading dark stuff. I just can't get it to pop just yet. Oh well, I guess I'll just need more practice.

Very nice work on this piece! From the sharpness of the lines to the detailed leather work and the overall shading, I would say your artwork and style have improved a bit since the last request you did for me. (Thanks a bunch btw!)
As far as constructive criticism goes, the only real issues I see are the right leg (leg on the left side of the image) and the center bit of the waist armor. The depth perception for the leg looks a little strange to me and the center bit for the waist armor is a little too long in my opinon.
These two criticisms aside, the image looks very smooth and well balanced in coloring and texture. Thank you very much for bringing this idea to life!

The middle does look longer than it should, and it is, but the usage of depth and how the legs are positioned are making it look even longer. As for the leg, I see what you mean because I was having trouble with the foreshortening as I was drawing. I need a little more practice with these more dynamic posing.
