This piece leaves me speechless! I love what you've done here. It seems very real, as if I'm there, walking along with AJ myself. The texture of the mane is so real, so feathery and silky like it should be. As commented by others, the positioning of the saddlebags and bedroll add to the overall feeling of a long trek ahead, giving AJ a burden to bear.The position of AJ herself is fantastic, and I can almost feel the wind sweeping around me. The eyes in the forest give it that ominous, unknown touch that adds a sparkle to the pic. The clouds and the sunset paired with the misty waterfall give it such a magical feeling. Thank you so much for this beautiful piece!

Somehow I love the way the saddlebags and the rug on her back hang down either way of her. Not because it frames her rear well (though it does), but because it feels pleasantly real somehow and lends more literal "weight" to her walk there, makes her really seem like she's going somewhere and not just strolling about. I love the hair the most, though - that subtle shading in it, that shadowed part, the gorgeous strands you drew so nicely (she really has the best natural hair in Ponyville). Great job on shaping and shading the body, too - both horselike and quite G4 pony in style and feeling. The background almost feels like a mix between Gravity Falls and Over the Garden Wall in some way, but also fits in with pony well - again, fine blend there, with very nice variety in them pines and very pleasant-looking use of colour for depth of perspective. Love how you did the grass flowing in the wind together with her hair, and those little stalks with leaves/seeds/whatever that liven grass up so well in general. Finally, those rainbow waterfalls work great at making this piece look really Equestrian (Winsome Falls, perhaps?), they make for a very pleasant atmosphere together with the lighting - it may all look kinda dark, but the atmosphere isn't, it's fairly pleasant if wistful. Well done!
