Inspiration and Title ----> [link] (I'm totally hooked on this song and the whole album thanks to *Clarrisa )Yeah, even my poor mini moleskin is being tormented by my obsession, so you all will just have to bare with it too. We haven't even started... I know, I know... SORRY. I thought it was pretty cool that after I scanned it, it ripped down the middle, so now there's this big nasty divide between the images in my actual sketchbook :3 Foreshadowing? Who knows! Haha!

This is absolutely gorgeous...I've come back and admired this picture time over and over again, and I'm still not over it.
I adore this song, too, and Imagine Dragons in general; and from what I've heard of Angel and Thad, this song seems to go pretty well with what they're stuck in! Beautifully done, like everything else you do!

I think it's kind of crazy awesome that you got a totally different read from it then what I was thinking while I was drawing it! I got something much more somber- I can't really explain the emotion behind it either... I was thinking about would he or she rather be responsible for killing the other one or having someone else do it? And then the whole spiral of thoughts that come with that :3 that's why they're both playing with their hands- there's kind of symbolic responsibility and anxiousness of what's to come.

I thought it was something like that at first, but then for them to actually have a form of anxiety seemed like foreign, something you wouldn't expect. But that actually probably makes it a lot better

hahaha- true! ok, so it's an anxiety that's exclusive to their "relationship." Maybe nothing more than a passing thought and then it's gone, but this is that moment when that thought crosses their minds. And it's not so much the anxiety of killing per say, but the ideas that come with it and surround them. Maybe they're each coming to terms with that decision it in this moment, resigning themselves to the fact that this is an inevitability- even though it might not take much in terms of emotionally committing to that idea. Does that make more sense? :3 This is fun!
