almost tie to buy more coasters again
!!!I mean seriously it's kinda rigged, sometimes a teacher writes a coaster and publishes it just so they can force you to buy it and get money from the proceeds becuase their taking their class. And then you are left with a coaster you never use, I mean the internet is a thing omg just siiigh TvT...
but sigh just is college TvT, can anyone else relate TvT???

Excuse me if I sound like an ad, but might I suggest Slugbooks? It's a site/app that compares prices from different vendors. No joke; as I'm typing this comment, I found a textbook I've had my eye on going for at most $21.00 as opposed to $67.00 everywhere else. Just a suggestion though.

And yush! 200 dollar fricken coasters! >A< I am glad that all my legal/ law/ correctional officer books I got cheap. (When I wanted to be a police officer) but now I have about 30 pounds of text books that sit in a drawer but double as door stops. o-o;;;;;

Nope. owo; I was doing all the training to be one but right now I just work in shipping and distribution as it's a fun job and I work at night.
Hahahaha well if you keep all your books, notes and everything else... it will add up, but this is why laptops are such a life saver.

owo That is good! you will be able to do a lot when you get your bachelors degree and most likely will get it all paid back quickly but that depends on if you are living on your own cause living on your own costs a bit. oAo;
Hahahaha!!! then you would hate the fact that the pastries are made fresh over here (especially apple fritters) and most of the time we get them for free cause they sometimes bake extras so they will send us a few trays. oAo; I've been on a diet so it sucks cause I don't eat any of them 90% of the time... unless tis something I really want like a blueberry muffin or crispy apply fritters. n.n;;; *spoiled rotten*

oof dang nah dude, I made a deal with my parents that when I have a job I'll have to pay them rent, but can still live with them ^^/!
I figured I don't wanna live on my own so I'd just stick with them or a roommate until I'm married or something, so the financial burden isn't too bad XDD!

Hahaha living with a friend can be good if you get along with them, personally I like my alone times at times back then but now I take care of my mother as she isn't in the best of health cause she has a damaged lung which makes breathing hard as she only has one lung that works at 100%

o.o;; I just diet cause I want to lean down and get some muscle definition back as I got spoiled over the winter... (store had a 50-75% off sale on chocolates) o-o;;; and the girls that work at the Starbucks always over fill my frappacino cup which is sooo nice of them but last time I had about two table spoons full of caramel inside my drink.... o-o;;;; I literally felt that ever sip I was gaining a pound.

I like my... technical school, if you can trust Lingvo, for not forcing us to get books - hell, most subjects don't even have some kind of a primary textbook. Although the flip side is your notes are your oxygen and you'll probably have to check someone else's notes at some point in any case, as well as share yours - although I'm fine with sharing, if you can understand all the shorthands I use
In my high school most of the books were in the library and the stock was sufficient most of the time (and the books were handed out for the whole year, including multi tome stuff), although it... at least was the standard here in Russia at the time. No idea how things are right now.

I don't know how your college is, but a lot of times you can get away without buying the book.
My college's library has a lot of the textbooks you can borrow for a few hours, and if you NEED to buy a book, the campus bookstore price-matches.
It might also be good to ask around online, like if your college has a facebook or subreddit, if certain books are used or not so you can save some money!
I'm going into my second year and I've gotten away with only buying like 3 books.
