Oh god, I absolutely love it. You've got him down point.
He's a Changeling, Elemental of Pollution (a blightbent). In actual terms, he is Murdoch Matthews: a sleaze, tabloid journalist gone private investigator that is trigger happy. London born, selfish, rude, but with a strong sense of justice and what he feels is right/wrong.
Also, he loves novelty ties.
