thank you soo much! this will help me a ton, it was really easy to follow.
So you kept layering on top of your original linart?
And about the lighting, did you use an airbrush tool?

if this was more made into a tutorial, i would and probably others will kiss your feet. with my photoshop skill i currently am in, i kinda understand what to do ether way. nice job.
when i mean more like a tutorial i mean how you did it, very through and everything, painful to do, but at least you'll be a bit happy that now people who color like i do, will be better and will bring a better future for all of us thinking in the lines of art.
anyway, good job, greatly done flash piece.

I agree with every single word you said, completely...yes, tutorials are helpful, but, they DO lead to cliches in the world of anime and manga. I tried following two different CS2 tutorials briefly for my line art, for a lack of not knowing how to use the program. It didn't work, so I started playing around with in the car on my way to school. It looks just fine^_^(to me anyway). Basically, my point is I agree 100%, and your words and artwork are an inspiration to me. You are one of my favorite artists^_^Arigato Gozamazu!
