Hey burdge! You've got some, if not all, great drawings up here in deviantart! Keep up the good work!! Well, hehe, only if you want to, that's it... I don't know upon which book or movie or whatever you based you drawing on, but doesn't this couple have a certain Hazel-ish and Frank-ish air to them? Must be that Rick Riordan has finally brainwashed me into thinking only about PJATO & HOO... Meh...

Simply wonderful job! I love the subject material because it's Simon and Alisha and enough said. Artwise I also think you did exceptional work. The spacing and flow of the different panels was very pleasing to the eye and easy to follow in terms of the sequence of events.

But hands down my favorite part was the depiction of actions/motions. The manipulation of the limbs, tilting of the head, use of props like Alisha's hairbow or shorts, ect... made each movement seem very natural and mid-motion, not just like a static shot in time. Often times comic artists rely on little sound effects or extra lines drawn around areas of movement to signal to the reader what's happening. (Not to belittle this technique, comic book and webcomic readers have come to expect this and now read it as part of the action. We've all come to recognize this dialect.) However, the longer I stared at your piece the more it seemed very beautiful and minimalistic till I realized what was missing that I'd come to expect.

These piece of work is really well above the average! You *show* your readers, rather than *tell* them. After viewing this artwork I'm certainly looking forward to checking out the rest of your gallery!
