Pokemon character fan art... and I started with Steven because... he's the best and most awesome Champion? hahahaha YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG THIS TOOK ME...yeah, Steven was the first Pokemon character I liked... because gen 3 stole all the ikemen from future games <___< I kinda hate how this... well, it turned out OKAY only cause I spent two days editing it... wtf... I have serious problems with the most basic grasp of how to draw simple body proportions. I drew the Skarmory in like two seconds but spent like 6 hours on Steven's stupid torso... it should NOT be that hard... crap I have to learn how to draw
maybe I'll draw Steven again and better in the future cause... I ship Steven x Wallace <__< I also wanna draw Morty and Elite Four Will and maybe Gold x Silver and uh... yeah, maybe there will be more Pocket Monsters stuff in the future.

Yes, this is the one... I think it turned out okay, I'm just sulking cause it took an extra two days of editing for some reason xDDD But I think this is one case where I actually have learned something from my errors :0 so I HOPE my body proportions might improve in later pictures.... I hope...
Ahh thank you!! Yeah I kept drawing heads too big... then, in trying to fix it I made them too small e__e I keep going back and forward! But don't worry, I've never thought that your characters' heads looked too big!! 8D -- Mmm yes... I'm probably going to do some more Pokemon character fan art, but it's a bit awkard because two of my friends know/love these characters but all my other DA friends have no idea who they are ;__; oh well, thanks for commenting even though you don't know the character (and thank you, I think he's cool too, hehehehe)

Your picture looks great! To tell the truth, I do not know the character, or even the pokemon (I watched only the first several seasons of anime and some movies), but I like how you drew both of them! The shading is beautiful, the composition is very good, and that pattern on the background corresponds with the pokemon's shape and the details of the trainer's outfit really well! And the colours are great, as usual 0 : - )

I only watched a bit of the show, but I know most of the creatures and characters because I play the video games, haha. But I'm very glad you like it! I'm actually happy to hear that you are interested to see some more Pokemon art; I thought since it's not a fandom that you're familiar with, it might be uninteresting to see this kind of fanart... but now I feel more eager to share it! Some of my Pokemon human characters are Pokemon OCs, so even though they are in the Pokemon world they are characters of my design, so for them I will still be eager to hear your thoughts about their look and design. Oh that's great, I'm glad you enjoyed the Pokemon show! I myself only watched about 2 seasons of it as well. Hmm... I think most of the game characters I like also appear in the show, but not til much later so I'm sure you still never saw them. I'm not sure which characters I like most from the show, I didn't really like Ash, I preferred his rival Gary (in the video game universe, Gary is known as "Blue" and the game version of Ash is called "Red"). Are there any characters you like? ^.^

Well... to tell the truth I like Team Rocket from the anime : - ) They are funny villains, Jessie is a very beautiful girl and Meowth is smart and witty cat-pokemon, who can talk : - ) I liked episode about Meowth's backstory too. It really gave him some depth. And I like Mew and Mewtwo from the first movie : - )
