We've all done it, and with considerably less dignity! I once did it in a flimsy skirt - not a great view for anyone walking past.

I don't know if I'm worried or amused by that. Or both! 
My brother in law still regularly breaks into his mum's house when he's drunk and had an argument with his girlfriend. His mum just finds him in the spare bedroom. Once he decided to share the love and his best mate's mum found him asleep on her garage floor. The joys.
